Since we bought the event in 1992 late fall, we are proud to provide a family-oriented, first-class festival at reasonable rates. We have seen a massive increase in operating costs since the pandemic of 2020. The combination of inflation, supply chain disruptions, vendors that went out-of-business during the pandemic and competition from other festivals for limited resources, as well as the drastically increased fees charged by musical talent make it difficult to produce a quality three-day event without increasing costs. This is according to Howard Freeman, the Festival Executive Producer whose company has been producing the festival annually for the last 30 years. In order to address these challenges properly, we made the difficult choice to take a year off to reimagine the festival and relaunch it in 2025.
